The Jellyfish Nebula (IC 443)
The Jellyfish Nebula (IC 443) is a galactic supernova remnant in the constellation of Gemini. It is roughly 5,000 light years away and it is about 300 light years in diameter. The supernova explosion is estimated to have occurred about 30,000 years ago. In the picture, we can also see the two bright stars near the nebula, where one is Mu Germinorum and the other is Eta Germinorum.
